Did you see the iPad TV Ad? It was show during the Academy Awards last Sunday night. Still can't imagine doing any serious typing on one.

According to the Washington Post, on Friday, the first day that buyers could pre-order the iPad, Apple racked up an estimated 91,000 sales in just the first six hours of availability.

According to various websites, Microsoft is also working on a tablet. For more information, and a couple videos, checkout this article at engadget.com. This is a very different beast than the iPad. Of course, this could be just one of the many prototypes.
