Where's the Mac@Home Blog?

Since I've moved the Mac@Home Newsletter to the my website, it's unclear that I need to continue the blog. In the meantime, I've moved the blog to the Links page. If you've been subscribing to it, you will need to resubscribe.

iPad Available in the US on April 3

On March 5th Apple announced that the iPad will be available in the US on Saturday, April 3rd for Wi-Fi models and in late April for Wi-Fi + 3G models. Visit the Mac@Home Amazon Links Page for iPad links.

Translate Text, Webpages and Documents

Because I make international Internet sales, I occasionally get messages that are not in english. I use Google Translate to translate them. Google Translate will also translate an entire website. Try entering a URL. Another useful translation site is Babel Fish. Sometimes, one works better than the other.

Mactracker

Mactracker provides detailed information on every Apple Macintosh computer ever made, including items such as processor speed, memory, optical drives, graphic cards, supported Mac OS versions, and expansion options. Also included is information on Apple mice, keyboards, displays, printers, scanners, digital cameras, iPod, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, Wi-Fi Cards/Base Stations, Newton, and Mac OS versions.

Thinking of upgrading to a new Mac? Mactracker makes it easy to compare the features of your current model with any other model. And it's free, although donations are welcome.
